The Horween shell cordovan collection consists of three watches, each with a different strap handmade from genuine shell cordovan leather by the 115-year-old American tannery Horween, a world leader in leather craftsmanship. Choose from three luxurious colour combinations: Gold and Whiskey, Silver and Brown or Silver and Black, available as part of the sleek, minimalist PKG01 collection designed by Patrick Kim-Gustafson.
Derived from horsehide, shell cordovan is one of the most durable types of leather available. It comes in irregular oval shaped leather shells that are tanned, stuffed, shaved, and then hand-dyed and polished – a process that takes at least six months. But the time and effort that goes into the process is evidently worth it: these are straps that will stand the test of time.
Given the handmade nature of the Horween shell cordovan collection, no two straps are the same, resulting in a natural, rugged feel and a watch strap that will develop a unique patina and age beautifully over time.
