Later this month, Werner Herzog will return with his latest documentary – Into The Inferno – taking on the world’s most terrifying natural phenomenon’s. The critically acclaimed documentary – which debuted at Telluride Film Festival in September – will launch on Netflix on October 28th 2016 and it sees the iconic German director come face-to-face with the ‘engulfing doom’ of active volcanos.
Herzog’s iconic voice narrates over the explosive imagery and footage of those who both worship and live in awe of the nearby volcanos in Iceland, Indonesia, North Korea and Ethiopia.
