Progressive design studio Ferm Living has debuted its latest collection of contemporary furniture that blends timeless design with modern processes.

Titled ‘Subtle Dwelling’, the minimal collection of furniture and homeware, originally presented in Copenhagen’s Northmodern event, features an array of pick-and-mix lighting systems, glass front cabinets and elegant light fixtures.

The new collection, defined by the Collect lighting series, also introduces the Herman lounge chairs and Mingle tables that are lined with wooden veneers and come complete with corresponding trestles in six colours.

By channelling an ‘artisan approach’ Ferm Living focus on simple shapes that are elevated through the use of textural surfaces, contrasting finishes and a colour palette that juxtaposes vibrant hues with tonal shades and monochrome colourways. The brand’s distinctive, modular design is best represented through ‘Collect’, the collection of interchangeable lights that allow customers to create fully customisable lamps for different rooms of the house. In typical style, the range features an array of colourful lampshades that can be matched up to different pendants and brass rings for a bespoke finish.

Be sure to pay a visit to Ferm Living’s online shop to see the collection in full, and follow the brand on Instagram, @fermliving, for daily design inspiration.
